Casuelle Foils

Een tijdje geleden had ik het al steeds over de lakjes van Casuelle. Een paar weken terug kon je er al eentje van zien bij een Notd, de foillakjes van Casuelle! Ik heb ze echt al ontzettend lang, maar gebruik ze bijna nooit. Ben nu toch wel tot de conclusie gekomen dat het best zonde is, want eigenlijk zijn ze toch best wel mooi.. Dus de swatches!

A while ago I told you about the polishes from Casuelle. A couple weeks ago you saw one of the polishes in my Notd, the foil polishes from Casuelle! I've got them for a really long time, but never used them before (except for the blue one). But actually, the polishes are really nice.. Alright Swatchtime!

De eerste, deze blauwe dus hebben jullie al kunnen zien in een Notd, ik ga er maar niet al teveel woorden aan verspillen, foto's zeggen genoeg!

The first one, this blue one you saw in one of my Notd's, so I'm not going to talk very much, just look at the pic's!

Het zilvere folie lakje/The silver polish with foil finish.

Het gouden lakje (deze hebben jullie al een keer als French Manicure gezien)/The golden foil polish (this one I used for a french manicure)

De roze, deze vind ik wel heel mooi! Ben ook wel blij dat hij iets lichter qua kleur is dan er op het potje staat afgebeeld. De kleur is zo precies goed!/ The pink one, this one, is the one I really like! Love the colour, and glad that it isnt exactly the same colour as the bottle. The pink is just good now!

En dit is de paarse, dit is echt mijn favoriet van deze 5 lakjes! Snap echt niet waarom ik deze nooit gebruikt heb.. Ben best benieuwd hoe deze er mat uitziet eigenlijk!/ And this is the purple one. My favourite from these 5 polishes! I really don't understand myself for not using this polish... I'm also curious about the mat version!

En dat waren dus de swatches van de Foil lakjes van Casuelle. Ook meteen maar even een algemeen berichtje tussendoor: Ook voor mij is school weer begonnen, en aangezien ik dit jaar dus eindexamen doe kan het soms zijn dat het me niet lukt om iedere dag te updaten. Ik ga mn best doen om gewoon zovaak mogelijk te updaten, maar als ik dan een paar daagjes afwezig ben weten jullie alvast wat daar de reden voor is!

And these were the swatches of the foil polishes from Casuelle. Immediately a general message: My school began today, and I've got my exams this year. It can be that I can't update every day, but I'm doing my best to write every day a update! But if I'm off for a couple of days, you know the reason why I'm off!

Notd Blue

Vandaag weer eens een nieuwe Notd, een Notd die er opzich wel leuk uitzag, maar ontzettend onhandig was! Maar dan ook écht heel onhandig, lees verder om te zien wat ik bedoel!

Today a new Notd, a Notd which looks good, but was really unhandy! Read further to know why!

Als basiskleur heb ik een lak van Casuelle gebruikt, deze lakken hebben dus geen namen of nummers, maar dit is een blauwe lak met een foil finish. De flesjes hebben een beetje een apart ontwerp, ze zijn aan de platte kant en de buitenkant heeft een beetje de kleur van de lak zelf, met een spiegeleffect. Je kunt jezelf dus zien in het flesje, handig omdat een spiegeltje altijd makkelijk is, onhandig omdat dit op foto's ontzettend reflecteerd! Binnenkort een post met de overige 4 lakjes van deze collectie van Casuelle.

For the base I've used a colour from Casuelle, as you know these polish don't have any names or numbers, but this one is a blue polish with a foil finish. The bottles are a little bit different, they are a bit flat, and the outside is a bit like the colour inside, with a mirror on it. So you can see yourself in this bottle, it's handy because a mirror is always handy, but unhandy to make pic's with. Soon there's gonna be a post with the other 4 Casuelle polishes from this collection.

En dit is de Notd, de stempellak is wederom weer Catrice - Let's talk about Barrie! (Echt een héérlijke kleur om mee te stempelen!). De bloem komt van een Fauxnad plate. In het hart van de bloem heb ik zelf een stipje gezet met een oranje lak van Essence. En dan komen we nu bij het onhandige deel. Op bovenstaande foto zie je vaag een aantal opliggende dingetjes. Dit zij gecrushte schelpjes uit één van de potjes met nailart. (Zie dit artikel). Echt ontzettend onhandig deze dingen! Ze liggen heel oppervlakkig op de nagel, en hebben hele scherpe randjes. Je blijft dus én overal achter hangen én je kunt jezelf hiermee verwonden (ja dat gebeurd echt!).

And this one is the Notd, Stampingpolish is again from Catrice - Let's Talk About Barrie! (Really a nice colour to stamp with!) The flower is from a fauxnad plate. The dot in the heart of the flower is a Orange polish from Essence. Now the unhandy part.. As you can see there are a sort of things on my nails. These are yellow crushed shells from one of the nailartpots. (Read this article). These are really unhandy! These are superficial on your nails, and have really sharp edges. So you stick on everything ánd you can hurt yourself because of the sharp edges. (Yes it really happens!)

Op bovenstaande foto kun je de gecrushte schelpjes iets beter zien. Ik raad je echt af om dit soort dingen als nailart te gebruiken op je nagels, het werkt echt heel lastig!

On above photo you can see the crushed shells better. I strongly advise not to use this kind of nailart on your nails, it's really unhandy and not nice to work with!

Notd French Manicure

Vandaag dus de langverwachte Notd, het word geen hele lange post, dus kort maar krachtig!

So today the Notd, not a long post, short but powerful!

Dit is dus de french manicure met de metallic goude lak van Casuelle en de glitters en flitters van Paris Memories (250). Door het inzoomen van de foto's ziet het er toch iets minder uit dan in het echt, maar dat mag de pret niet bedrukken! Het witte lijntje is overigens met een penseeltje gemaakt met White Coat van de Hema.

So this is the french manicure with the metallic gold polish from Casuelle and the glitters/flitters from Paris Memories (250). Because of the zoom it isn't very decent, but anyway I like it! The white line is made with a little brush and White Coat from hema (Dutch drugsstore)

Dit was dan de laatste update, morgen (16 juli) ga ik op vakantie t/m 6 augustus, 3 weken dus. Héél misschien een keertje een update tussendoor, maar ik kan niets beloven. In ieder geval ben ik na 6 augustus weer helemaal terug! Tot dan!

Paris Memories 250 over gold

In mn laatste nagellak haul heb ik jullie een potje van Paris Memories laten zien, nr 250 welke glitters en flitters bevat. Ik heb jullie toen beloofd om deze lak te gaan swatchen over een willekeurige gouden lak, dus ik heb 2 goude lakjes uitgezocht, en deze geswatcht op een blaadje (Het spijt me, had geen tijd om ze op mn nagels te swatchen.).

In my last nailpolish haul, I've showed you a polish from Paris Memories number 250, a polish with glitters and flitters. I've promised to swatch this polish over a gold polish. So here are the swatches on a piece of paper ( I'm sorry, I didn't have the time to swatch it on my nails).


Deze foto is gemaakt in de schaduw, op deze foto zijn de verschillende kleuren van de glitters en flitters van de lak erg goed te zien! Links is een goudkleurig lakje van Casuelle, zoals ik laatst al vertelde hebben deze lakjes helaas geen naam of nummer, maar dit is dus één van de metallic lakjes! Rechts is ook een goudkleurig lakje, al lijkt deze op deze foto meer zilver, het gaat hier om de lak van Paris Memories nr 249 (hmm zouden ze toevallig bij elkaar horen soms? Als je de potjes naast elkaar zet zou je zeggen van wel!). Persoonlijk vind ik hem mooier over het metallic lakje van Casuelle, op deze foto kun je dus ook een voorproefje zien van mijn nieuwe creatie, toevallig een french manicure met deze goude lak en glitters ( Notd komt binnenkort!).

Left is a gold polish from Casuelle, as you know they didn't have names or numbers, but this is one of the polishes from the metallic ones! Right is a gold polish from Paris Memories nr 249 ( hmm maybe they are a polishset? When I see the bottles I say yes!) Personally I think the left one with the metallic gold is nicer. Oh by the way, you can see a preview from my new Notd! A french manicure with this metallic gold polish with the glitter polish (Notd is coming soon!)

En dan is dit een foto in zonlicht. Hier kun je zien dat de rechterlak toch meer naar goud neigt dan naar zilver. Het is trouwens een heel apart lakje, in het potje zie je een mega goude shimmer en lijkt hij supergoud, maar dit valt vies tegen in het echt op je nagels! Al met al vind ik de combinatie links mooier dan de combinatie rechts!

And this is the pic in sunlight. Here you can see that the rightpolish is really a gold one, and not a silver one. It's by the way a really strange polish, in the bottle you see a huge goldenshimmer, but in real life.. it's not! However, I like the left combo the most!

Casuelle Flowerbottles

Vandaag dus de review + swatches van de Casuelle potjes met bloemdopje. Om te beginnen ga ik nog een foto laten zien die ik in het andere bericht vergeten was, namelijk de bovenkant van de potjes! Hier kun je goed zien wat voor vorm de dopjes hebben.

So today the review and swatches from the Casuelle flowerbottles. Let's start with another photo I forgot in the last message, it's a photo from the top of the bottles! Now you can see the exact shape of the caps.

Zien ze er niet enorm schattig uit?? Echt de vorm van een bloem! Er zit trouwens ook een mooi subtiel glittertje in de dop, maar eigenlijk bevatten alle lakken ook wel een glitter of shimmer.

Aren't they adorable?? Exactly the shape of a flower! By the way there is a nice glitter in the cap, but actually every polish has a glitter or shimmer in it.

Dit is het eerste lakje, een donkerpaarse lak en als je heel goed kijkt bevat deze lak toch wel een subtiele shimmer (al lijkt dat in het potje van niet!). Het is niet wat je zegt een hele aparte kleur, ik kan vast wel een aantal lakjes in mijn verzameling vinden die hier enigsinds op lijken.. Maar de applicatie was dan wel weer redelijk, na 2 laagjes kreeg je al dit resultaat!

This is the first polish, a dark purple polish and it has some shimmer in it when you look to it closer (But when you look at the bottle, you think there isn't any shimmer at all!). It's not really a spectaculair colour, I can find a dupe in my collection I think. But application was fine, 2 layers on this photo!

En hier het tweede lakje, een blauwe shimmerlak. Ook dit is geen spectaculaire kleur, vind hem eigenlijk wel een beetje weg hebben van Catrice - Blue's Brother. Hmm misschien maar eens een vergelijking mee doen! Application was wederom gewoon weer goed, alleen dit is toch een iets minder dekkende lak, op de foto al 3 laagjes lak en zoals je kunt zien zie je bij mn wijs en middelvinger mijn eigen nagels er nog doorheen, dus een 4de laagje was zeker mooier geweest.

And this is the second polish, a blue shimmerpolish. This one isn't a spectaculair colour either, I think it looks like Catrice - Blue's Brother. Hmm maybe I'll compare these 2 polishes sometime! Application was again fine, on this photo 3 layers, but a fourth layer was a must, now you can see my own nails through it (at the index/middlefinger). So a fourth layer is better.

En dan zijn we nu bij het derde lakje, dit is een donkerroze glitter lak. Wat je niet kunt zien op deze foto is dat deze lak letterlijk alle kleuren glitter bevat! Van deze lak kan ik dus wel zeggen dat het iets eigen heeft, zo'n dupe zal ik niet snel tegenkomen in mijn verzameling! Applicatie was daarentegen een groot drama.. Ontzettende dikke lak, heel stroperig dus het was niet bepaald een pretje. Maar doordat deze lak aan de dikke kant is is hij wel geheel dekkend met 2 laagjes.

And then we're reaching the third polish, this one is a darkpink glitter polish. Something you can't see on this pic is that this polish has every colour glitter in it! So about this polish I can say it's something different, I will not find a dupe very easily in my collection! Application was a big drama.. Very thick, so it wasn't fun to polish my nails with this polish. But because the thick polish you only need 2 layers.

En dan is dit dus het laatste lakje. Dit is een zelfde soort lak als de donkerroze hierboven. Dit is dus een lichtroze glitter, wederom weer met alle kleuren glitter in zich! Applicatie was iets minder dramatisch dan degene hierboven, maar wederom nog steeds niet geweldig. Ook is deze lak aan de lichte kant dus heb je zeker 3 (redelijk) dikke laagjes nodig om deze mooi dekkend te krijgen. In het echt zie je je nagels er dan niet door, maar voor de foto had een vierde laagje eigenlijk ook wel gemogen zie ik net..

And then the last polish. This one is the same as the one above (de darkpink). This one is a light pink glitter, again with all the colours in the glitter! Application was less dramatic then the one above, but again not very good. This polish is also a bit of sheer, so you need 3 (reasonable) thick layers for this one to get it opaque. In real life you can't see your nails through it, but on my photo you can, so voor pics you can better take another layer above it..

En dan hebben we nu de 4 lakjes gehad die ik van dit merk heb. Ik ben niet geheel ontevreden want de kleurtjes zijn erg leuk, de glitterlakken zijn een beetje dramatisch maar misschien valt dat op te lossen met een nagellakverdunner. Verder blijf ik de potjes helemaal geweldig vinden, maar ik ben er nog niet helemaal uit of ik de rest van de kleurtjes ook aan ga schaffen. Het merk is trouwens niet heel slecht hoor, ik heb ook nog 5 metallic lakjes van dit merk en die zijn echt super! Daar ga ik binnenkort nog wel eens iets over schrijven!

So these were the polishes. I'm not really unhappy with it, because the colours are nice, the glitterypolishes are a bit dramatich but maybe I can solve that with some nailpolishthinner. Further I still love the bottles, but I don't know if I'm gonna buy the rest of the polishes. Anyway Casuelle isn't a crap brand ;), I've also 5 metallic polishes from Casuelle and I love those polishes! Soon I shall write something about them!
